The Autonomous Undersea Systems Institute (AUSI), formerly the Marine Systems Engineering Laboratory (MSEL), is a not-for-profit research institute focused on promoting commercial applications of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), platforms and sensors.

Our mission is to function as an independent unbiased focal point for research, education and industrial interests.
